Norton Antivirus Problem?

i have norton antivirs 2003. i just installed it, i skipped tre registration becuase it says that i get 90 days free. and i did. so i updated it untill it said it has no mroe updates to download, i updated my computer as well. and yet i get this bubble that says ''Norton Antivirus is Installed but the status is unknown'' its a litle red shield with a white ''x'' in the center. when i open norton it says the status is ''ok''.

I understand that you want an anti-virus program to protect your computer...



that is WHY you don't want Norton.



It's a huge ram hog, it doesn't always work right, and it conflicts with other programs, and boggs down your pc operations.



The solution is to DUMP Norton...



AND instead get this great program:



Get a new FREE Home version of an excellent anti-virus software = AVAST

Install %26gt; run %26gt; do a thorough scan



and allow it to run on your computer all the time.



The annual registration and updates are free too.

That's just because WinXP Security Center doesn't like Norton. (Neither do I, btw), but there's nothing wrong. Don't worry.



I would advise you to try sometime Avast antivirus. It's excellent, works seamlessly with XP, and it's free. I've had it for years now with absolutely no problem whatsoever.

have you tried to go into advanced settings and selecting do not show error warning even if device is peforming incorrectly?



Worked with my limted or no connectivity warnings.
