Is there any antivirus programs that I can download offline?

I'm looking for an antivirus progam for my computer. Something that can eliminate exsisting viruses that my be in my system and prevent me from getting more. Prefferably something free. If so what site can I download it from?

Hi. I`m using AVG 7.3 (go to Cnet), and it works fine and is up to date.
I use ZoneAlarm, it costs about 拢20 per year but it's totally worth it.
try avg antivirus . its really good.
