Best antivirus/spyware/etc program?

My current antivirus is about to expire (in about a month) and it has worked very well (i have norton antivirus 2006 btw)

But i want to know what other people think is best. I dont go for free scanners, i prefer to buy, but dont want to waste my money on a program thats not that great

If you want an excellent anti virus just download XSOFTSPYSE. it is a free download but you have to pay $39.99 US dollars to get a key code to have the detected virus's removed. Believe me this program will detect virus's that AVG or Adaware will not detect, it's fab.
Nortons is good it slows your computer down a bit but offers good protection.I would say if your happy with what you have been using then stay with it
