i don't have an original version of win xp sp2. when there are no antivirus software, windows displayed an icon near the clock which said that there are no antivirus. in that i clicked an icon which named ''get an new antivrus program, how'' on clicking this, the browser opened which showed many antivirus programs. i clicked mcafee and in that it showed that a 90 day free trial is available for microsoft users.........HERE IS THE MAIN QUESTION........ SO CAN I DOWNLOAD THE MCAFEE TRIAL FOR 90 DAYS???? BECAUSE MY DOUBT IS THAT IT IS FOR MICROSOFT USERS, SO CAN I DOWNLOAD IT WITH AN UNORIGINAL VERSION OF WINDOWS???????? PLS TRY TO UNDERSTAND MY QUESTION AND THEN ANSWER IT.........

Simple answer to this one: Use AVG Free instead of McAfee. I have McAfee VirusScan installed on my computer downstairs and AVG upstairs, and I've seen little difference (though I like both better than Norton). Both programs are detected by Windows and work very well.
